Stuff I Bought {Week 32}

Hey everyone, as I mentioned on my main blog, I've come across a number of very cute and useful items this week. The best of which was this pen set, not only do they look really pretty, they write really awesome. It's blank ink, not ballpoint, and very thin. Perfect for a planner, and for me because I use up my black pens super fast.

I also picked up some cute stickers. They are shaped like stamps and I already put some in my new planner.

I also got some crafting paper which I rarely get but this one had such cute characters that I couldn't resist.  

This week on the Finny Drink Review TM, we have some canned Bubble Tea. They came in two flavours, matcha and taro. Honestly both were way too sweet! The boba was alright, not amazing, and also a bit of a choking hazard. The taro was a little strong, maybe a bit too concentrated. The matcha was better but due to the sweetness we had to dilute it a lot. It's a 4/10 for the taro and a 5/10 for the matcha.

Clone Wars + Watch Dogs Finds ( ≧ᗜ≦)

I've talked about it a bit on my main blog but on the 1st of August I found some amazing things at the Easycash. I usually go there just to browse but this time there were so many cool things and I had to really narrow it down. First, the coolest thing ever, a Wrench UbiCollectible figurine that was only 25 euros! Cat for scale below.

Seriously, we checked before buying and this thing goes for upwards of a 100 euros online but we didn't even get it for re-sale value, we just love Wrench. It would be super sick to get the Marcus one day too. It's too bad they didn't make any others of like Sitara or Josh. Guy's if Watch Dogs/ Watch Dogs 2 has no fans, I am dead and I say this as a certified Watch Dogs Legion and Ubisoft hater. When everyone was hating on both of the first two games I didn't get it and I still think these two games rock and maybe the characters aren't the best-written out there but I still love them.

I was also lucky to pick up the COMPLETE season 1 and 3 of The Clone Wars. I love Clone Wars so much... and my physical media build continues. The season 1 DVD set is especially cool as it comes with concept art that's in between the discs! So cool.

Today I was at the store and saw a Lego mag with the Ahsoka figurine and picked it up as well. I love Ahsoka, she's my ride-or-die (yes, from the VERY START a.k.a. the Clone Wars 2008 film, I will keep bringing this up annoyingly) and it came with lots of stickers too (my weakness!). I'm a Clone Wars era fan so I'm pretty weak to any of that and this figurine was just so cute.

 

 

I'm also an 'Ahsoka should hold her lightsabers backwards' truther. She switches it up sometimes but she's almost always holding them backwards in Clone Wars and Rebels, she's holding it regularly in some shots of the live action shows and I'm not a big fan of that.

Dinner Party Look ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Yesterday I went to a dinner party at a friend's house. It was actually very casual but I will take any opportunity to get dressy because I don't really get super well-dressed on the daily. I tried the new eye shadow palette that my mum and sister gave me for my birthday, it has a lot of great neutrals. I also did my fake lashes with a very light brown liquid liner. I did a darker lip. Honestly, I felt pretty cute but you judge for yourself. The actual outfit pics are pretty terrible because I suck at taking full body pics. On the bright side though, the entire outfit is second-hand down to the earrings and the handbag!

 

The make up was not too shabby! Though I literally don't have eyebrows, guys... they are less pale in real life but on pics it literally looks like I don't have brows. What I wouldn't give for a pair of bushy, dark brows...

There's been no shopping for the past few weeks because I spoiled myself by pre-ordering the new Deftones CD, I can't wait for it. Also there's no brocantes in town so I'm not buying anything thrifted either. Anyway, I've got to run and message back some friends before I forget as usual and do a bunch of other tasks!

Very Bad Make-Up! ( • ᴖ • ｡)

I think everyone who follows the blog can tell I'm no make-up guru. First of all, the vision of one of my eyes is so poor that I will never be able to do nice and even make up on both eyes. I just also don't wear make up every day, I wear it vary rarely. But it's a fun thing to do so that's really all I try with it anyway! Something fun, stylized. 

For the longest time I've been a fan of drawing false lashes so I finally braved a sort-of faux Twiggy eye look. It went poorly.

Anyway, just prepare yourself for terrible eye shadow application, horrible liner work, and very strange faces that I pull trying to pose or something. 

 

It's so freaking uneven and rough as hell! Ahhhh!

 I'm not gonna lie I think the hair is doing much more for this look than the make up.

New paralysis demon unlocked!

Anyway, my eyes hurt bad because I kept messing up and having to wash off the entire thing. I did learn that I actually really like blue eye shadow! I got told that it's tacky so much that it's no wander that I've always been drawn to it but to scared to try. It's really frosty, I love it.

In other news, here's some random shit I bought over the last few weeks. It's mostly bizarre drinks I have tried out.

Got some black markers with varied thickness. Some of them are super thin which is very useful.

This key-chain. My brother said it's some motorcycle brand, I'm a poser, I just thought it looked cool.

S. Pellegrino carbonated water but it tastes a bit like dark morello cherry and pomegrante. A little, really. Not bad when you want something totally not sweet. 7/10.

 

Yamas green tea with lemon juice and honey. It was pretty good but the acidic taste was a little strong for my liking. Not to sweet so bonus points! 7/10.

Yamas green tea with blueberry juice and honey. Mostly same as above but a flavor I personally just like less. 6/10.

Walker's Japanese sparkling black currant soda. Great flavor, way too sweet! And small portion but very cute bottle. 6/10.

So that's all in my fashion and shopping world recently. Nothing too exciting but I'm doing my best to have fun while the summer is still here.

Stuff I Bought! {Week 27}

Hey readers, sorry I haven't been around for awhile. Ever since summer started I have not been fashionable, only sweaty. I'm trying to still keep fun and fashion in my mind though and so I thought I'd do a little update of cool things I found, bought, or was given. There's clothes but I think I'll branch out to include all sorts of things here from now on.

 July 3rd, 2025, Thursday

I popped by our store that sells everything on a discount and picked up a bunch of cute things. First of, I got some drinks, Jimmy's Ice Coffee and Galvanina Green Tea. The coffee I bought mostly because of the cute bottle, the flavour was fine, maybe I'd like a latte more than a mocha. However it was great for the morning because I was tired and way too warm. The cold tea was pretty great, a little too sweet. 

I also got some really cute stationery, some clear stamps and some highlighters. The stamps look awesome but they don't actually have a base so they're hard to use right now. I'll probably make them myself from clay and stick the stamps on. The highlighters are just cute and thin, they're gonna be good for my new planner in August.

On Saturday we went to Bordeaux and since it was the sale season I bought a few things. First, I got the most basic swimsuit from Decathlon because I lost mine. Weird. I also got biker/yoga shorts which are awesome to wear under a skirt or something during the summer. I've been on the hunt for shorts for a while so I was happy to find some in Stradivarius that were exactly what I was looking for. I try not to shop new and especially not from fast fashion stores but I had literally no luck with shorts/pants in the thrift stores. I also picked up Pearl Jam's Ten, it's an album I love but I didn't have it on CD, now I do!

 

 

 

 July 6th, 2025, Sunday

Today we had a brocante in town and at first it did not look promising. However, I actually picked up a bunch of cute things. I got three tops: a cute one with puffed sleeves, a babydoll top, and a simple short-sleeve shirt in a gray-navy. I also got a very cool belt. 

Very happy and set for the summer. The only issue is that I don't have any good shoes at all. I bought some sandals that will do for now but I want something more comfortable.
