Snag Tights Review~!

A few weeks ago I ordered a pair of plus-size tights from Snag Tights. Basically, L-sized tights from most conventional stores fit me but are rarely in stock and are usually in incredibly boring colours. I own a black pair that I've worn for years so I was not interested in anything like a basic staple. I've been looking to get some fun tights for ages... but cool patterns only go to XS sizes. I was kinda nervous to order from Snag Tights but I heard pretty positive stuff so I ordered two pairs and I have to say they are pretty great.

They come in paper boxes which were in a paper envelope, so minimal plastic, which is nice. Though one of the boxes was a little open though the tights were undamaged so no matter.

No extra packaging, very nice. It also came with this really big post card which is cute. I don't really have an issue with it. It's just kinda big and the design is quite simple but sure, why not.
 

I ordered the Baby Goblin colourway in size E. I was worried that it would be very blue-tinted, as it appears on some pictures. Luckily it was not and was more warm and lime-y, which is what I wanted. 

I've also been wanting plain white tights for a while so I also got the Unicorn Fluff colourway. They are not pearlescent or glittery at all and are just nice and plain. 

I have to say, both tights sit very comfortably. I don't have to drag them up my thighs. I have relatively regular calves but pretty big thighs so it makes sizing kind of awkward for tights and jeans. However, these fit great, pulled up properly in the crotch and the waistband is sturdy. Also, the sheerness is not too much, it's quite opaque which I was really looking for. I bought them on a sale but I would say they are pretty great for the normal going price as well. Considering how awful the choices are for plus-size tights this was a nice surprise. I will say that I am not a fan of like 95% of their patterns. They are either too bland or too specific for me. I just wouldn't know what to pair many of them with! Probably it's just not my style. However, there were a few other items I would have gotten from them if it wasn't for the price or lack of stock in my size:

First, the denim and outmeal colourway cable tights. I didn't get them because of the price, I just don't have the money for them right now. However, they are lovely and on a future sale maybe I could get something cable knit.

These navy and polka dot tights. I wanted to get these really bad, I love a small polka but sadly they didn't have any in my size. Oh, well!  

Now that I've worn them a bunch I can say that they are pretty great. I am only talking about their tights of course as I haven't tried any of their other products, plus some customers have reported mixed quality for their items, so beware before ordering. I also saw that they have an advent calendar which I think is kind of a weak product as it's just an attempt to get rid off unsold stock. Meh. I'd rather they bring back some of the currently unavailable models, such as the blue and polka dot! It's so lovely...
