A is for...Accessories! {A-Z 2026 #1}

Hey, everyone. Starting with a pretty big category: accessories. What exactly will be included? I'm limiting myself mostly to hair accessories, gloves, leg warmers, belts, and hats (basically all things NOT jewelry, that's for another day). Still pretty broad, eh? Over the years I've mainly picked up lots of cool stuff in thrift shops and on sales at regular retail stores. I would say my favorite accessory is either a scarf or some hair clips, particularly a big hair crab because I have very unruly hair. The point of this challenge for me is to actually wear my stuff, take some pics, and see if I actually still like how it looks on me. You know, the way we're supposed to wear the clothes we like... I need reminding. By the way, please ignore the huge red injury right in the middle of my face, I got stung by who the fuck knows what while we were working on the farm last week and it's a total pain. Kawasaki Neon Green Cap

I don't usually wear normal sports caps but the colours of this one are so fun. I love the huge logo too. Do I know anything about motorbikes that aren't mopeds? Not really, but I am self-proclaimed poser.

This was gifted to my sister by someone my mum knows but since she didn't want it, I've since adopted it. It's shape is kind of bad and it's a little dented where it shouldn't be but it's still nice and comfy and looks good.

Monique, a family friend, gave me this for working on the farm last year and I asked her if I could keep it and she said yeah. I just really like caps shaped like this, a little but not too boxy.

Black with Stars Scarf

This is my go-to scarf. I love star motifs, especially when they are all the same size. It's dark but with a fun pattern.  

White with Stars Scarf

Quite similar to the black one but in an off-white with small blue stars. Also well-loved and worn often.  

Orange Stripes Scarf

Funky, I wear it often during autumn but it kind of gives me summer a bit more. I've worn it once as DIY top and that worked too. I love stripes and such nice monochromatic colours.

Lilac Scarf

A skinny scarf with a very nice texture. Doesn't really keep warm but an excellent pop of colour and a little detail if the neck part of an outfit is boring.

Violet Scarf

A pretty thin and light purple scarf that I pair with lighter outfits. I usually wear it during the spring.

This was a gift from a family friend from Malaysia. Very beautiful and silky, it's super elegant and sadly because of that I hesitate to wear it more often.

This was a gift from my grandma. She was so adorable because she was like, it's a real Hermes, you know? I didn't have the heart to tell her the label read 'Fermes'. I don't hate on dupes though so I'm just happy to have it because it reminds me of my grandma.
