Hey everyone, happy late Halloween! A very late post but here's my costume for this year. We had a bunch of ideas but since the month was so busy none of them came to life. No worries, We have a number of witch hats and I have a lot of black dresses to experiment with.
Here's a little closer to the make-up, I liked how it turned out.

Last week, my family and I went daytripping to Bordeaux to see the Museum des Beaux-Arts and to get some necessities from IKEA. I picked up a number of cute items along the way:
I got a set of really cute notebooks from HEMA with stars all over. I love star patterns a lot. At Flying Tiger I got a really cute black pen with less runny ink for when I don't want stuff to bleed through the page too much. And one of my wishes for this year, a really nice candle. It's apple and cinnamon, in a very cute container shaped like an apple, I got it from IKEA along with some boxes for my pants that don't fit in my dresser.
The pen has a little cat on the top.
I love how the candle smells, its not too sweet. I really love the container it's in too.
I also dropped by the CD place to see what they had on sale and ended up grabbing Bloc Party's Intimacy. I listened to this a lot in high school, an amazing album.

Last week some friends were getting rid of old furniture and other stuff. I got a couple things from them that are so cool!
This Sanyo media player with two speakers, a DVD/CD player, and a subwoofer. I didn't manage to get it to work with the TV but it works great as a CD player.
Second was this CD shelf/rack. Very old school, I may re-paint it in the future but I don't hate it as is either.
Third was this album. It's very whimsical and cute. I've got a lot of physical photos so it's a perfect display/storage solution. My other photo album is also very whimsigothic-like but blue.
This was not from friends but my mum picked up Around The Fur for me from a town near us when they were there with my sister. Next on my wishlist is definitely Koi No Yokan, Diamond Eyes, and the self-titled album.
